Dean Eskdale, a former custom car and motorcycle builder
is a Canadian born artist who’s influences of Braque and
Picasso started his movement towards contemporary realism.
Over many years of training and teaching,  Eskdale has
emerged with a bold new style of masterful works.  His style is
energetic and colorful with hints of cubism still present.  His
vibrant paintings have been featured and well received in
galleries, at juried competitions and private collections
throughout Canada and the United States.
When Eskdale is not working on a new series, he teaches
interactive workshops to children at the Royal Alberta Museum
in Edmonton, Alberta.  As the founder of the Kids for Art
Foundation, Dean takes pride in making an effort to give back to the
community and inspire future artists.
Eskdale has been invited to make several appearances on TV
networks, participate in charity events and has been interviewed
and featured in  several national journals.
He currently resides in Edmonton with his wife, a son and daughter.
Dean’s work has been noted as charged with psychology and
expression, courting an emotional response.
